Action Comedy Movies
Two large genres of movies that actually create a great and entertaining combination are action and comedy movies. These two genres, while different and unique, mesh together well. Also, this sub-genre has a lot of variety from diverse locations and settings, to a broad range of characters.
The earliest film on our list is director Stanley Kramer’s “It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World”, which originally premiered in 1963, and won the Oscar for best sound effects. In contrast, the most recent flick featured below is “Tropic Thunder” from 2008, which was directed and co-written by one of the film’s stars, Ben Stiller. For those who are in the mood for a kung fu flick, then you definitely can’t miss the classic 1978 movie “Drunken Master” with Jackie Chan (If you are fan of this international star then check out Jackie Chan Movies for more details on this him as well as his films list. Or for a more current alternative, check out Stephen Chow’s flick “Kung Fu Hustle”. What about a good cop flick?
